This Privacy Policy describes how PaceTunes ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PaceTunes mobile application (the "App").
PaceTunes uses Spotify as its sign-in method. When you log in with Spotify, we receive and store:
If you are a Pro subscriber and enable Taste Tuning, we also retrieve your top artists and recently played tracks from Spotify to personalize playlist generation. This data is cached temporarily and used only for generating your playlists.
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (active/expired) and an anonymized RevenueCat customer identifier. We never see or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Google Play.
Playlist generation uses Google's Gemini AI model. When generating a playlist, we send your musical preferences only (target BPM, genre, decade, energy level, and — for Pro Taste Tuning — artist/track names from your Spotify listening history). We do not send your name, email, or other identifying information to the AI model.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the App:

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by:
Deletion removes your profile, sessions, Spotify tokens, playlists, presets, exclusions, training plans, and club memberships from our systems. Playlists already created on your Spotify account remain on Spotify and can be deleted from the Spotify app. Purchase records retained by Google Play and RevenueCat are subject to their respective privacy policies.
You can also revoke PaceTunes' access to your Spotify account at any time at spotify.com/account/apps.
PaceTunes is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Spotify also requires its users to meet minimum age requirements.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secret-verified webhooks, and access-controlled databases. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at pacetunesdev@gmail.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
